SFI here in Grums (of all places, they startes last year and we didn't know)! He will go to school 3 days a week for a couple of hours and on 1 day he will practise on 'real people', which means he will be 'working' in a company that suits his interests (well, that should be a pub or a garage).

    Hi ladies,

Well I'm now a married lady & our big day on 26th May went really well. The weather was fantastic & everything went according to plan. The horse & carriage was well worth the money & I really felt like a princess arriving to the venue in it with 3 of my bridemsaids. We had champagne on the way & went right through the centre of Sigtuna, so there were many people who saw us in the carriage! Hubby looked dashing & the service was beautiful & lots of people cried. The day went by in a blur but we have so many wonderful memories. The toughest part was leaving for our one week honeymoon to Rhodes the next day. We didn't arrive to our hotel room at Arlanda airport until 1am Sunday & had to check in at 4:30am to find out our flight was delayed 3 hrs so the first two days of the honeymoon were spent sleeping. We had all the family over from the UK & Thursday night before the wedding had hubby's family over for a BBQ at our house & then Friday night my lot for baked potatoes so we had a hectic time leading up to the wedding. So glad it's all over with now & very very happy

Tree glad you like your ring & have a photographer sorted out & congrats on your Swedish test. I've completed the SFI tests & have done SAS basic level with VG but I haven't got any further!!

Mrs 170307 glad hubby enjoyed his surprise package. When we were in Rhodes I found a shop that sold Walker salt & vinegar crisps & had to buy a few packets, they're so yummy

Mommy2e I'm also glad that your day went really well & that everyone manged to arrive okay!

Everyone else Hope all the Swedish lessons & wedding plans are coming along ok.

I'll see if I can post a few pictures later

Speckledust: I can remember how I also felt: "I am so glad it is over, can I please just relax and enjoy myself now?!"

Sounds wonderful - congratulations to you and your husband!!

tree: Congrats to you too! So you are finished with your Swedish courses now? Must feel really good.

Am a bit annoyed at the moment: have a touch of a summer flu, the hotel I want in London doesn't come back to me and I am tired of writing thank you notes but the day is still young...

wow... HUGE CONGRATULATIONS! looking forward to seeing pictures soon!

only 10 and a bit weeks left for us now... tick tock tick tock... wish it was next week already!

    whats the SAS test?

    Mrs. 170307
    summer flu... boo hoo...

i guess it's gonna pretty hard going writing all the thank you notes. we also plan to do them by hand..l.. i think my m2b will do his fair share though. he's been pretty good helping with all the invitations so far. speaking of whihc... our OSA date went out on sunday adn 3 people still haven't answered... very annoying... sent them emails now so hopefully they'll come in soon.

had a little budget panic yesterday. we realised we are about 12000kr over budget... hhhmmm... so now we've decided to take aaway the vikning... we planned hotdogs at midnight. since the lokal closes at 1am anyway, we figured it's not worth it... and they were the worlds most expensive hotdogs too - 80kr per person, so 6400kr in total... money quickly saved by cancelling them.. people can buy nuts is they get peckish!

  • mommy2e

Oh! I have some more news I realized....

Took a test yesterday and I'm pregnant! It's only 1 day or so after expected period so anything could happen I guess (My best friend just had a misscarrige - she told me right after I told her I was pregnant - very bad timing)

We were going to wait till August to try for another baby as we allready have one who's 11 months old. But we thought if it happens on the wedding night it's meant to be. So after that, on the honneymoon we used protection again - but it was enough with just that one time! Very romantic though - making a baby on our wedding night!

  • MrsH2b

WOW!!! Huge congrats to you mommy2e!! Im so chuffed for you guys.
My m2b is dying to try for another one and claims that quote;"As long as your not more than 3-4months preggers at the wedding (in feb -08) it doesnt matter since it will hardly show...AS IF! :) I want to be able to drink and enjoy my wedding day and not having to worry about morning sickness and falling asleep by 7pm. So hes gonna have to wait until the wedding night too....and I do hope were as lucky as you guys are!:)
    Once again Congratulations!!
