I'm an American living in Sweden. The first time I ate potatisgratäng here I thought, "Great! They also have potatoes au gratin (å GRÅT n), which is a favorite of mine". I've never seen potato casserole on a menu, but it could be because of where I'm from (east coast). Plus, casserole has a more informal tone. I've heard people say if they don't know what to cook, they'll just make casserole, that is to say, something you slap together.

As for "bordsplacering", we called it seating chart. Just because it has the word "chart" in it, it doesn't mean it has to be a table or a chart, just a visual aid for people. Good Luck with everything!

Robbidobb:Ja det e inte måna dagar kvar nu för mig heller... På lördag gäller det..=) Nervöst..=) Det verkar som du får vinna denna fighten om gratängen för det e fler som sagt au gratin. Lycka till med bröllopet!!!

It's so many that are voting for au gratin so I can't go against the majority.. My hostfamily that are going to visit us are from the eastcoast ( Boston area) so potatoes au gratin it is..

Vi gifter oss ien liten liten kyrka i en håla som heter Morkarla (bodde där ute på somrarna med min mormor) å sedan har vi festen på Österbybruks herrgård.Vart håller ni hus? Ska bli grymt skoj!! Å Azorerna verkar mysigt. Vi beslutade för att spara oss till den 7 oktober med resan så att man hinner smälta bröllopet lite. Då drar vi till Kenya på safari i kombination med en vecka på Seychellerna. Blir nog en häftig upplevelse. Men jag säger som du, det är vigseln å festen man siktar på nu! Har ni ngn "hemsida" här på BT?

Robb: Grymt att åka tll kenya i en så tråkig månad som oktober.... Gör ni rätt i.... och så väntar ni ju ej för länge så att ni har säkert lite bröllopskänslor kvar...=) Vi ska gifta oss på Carlstens fäsning på Marstrand, en ö på västkusten.
